Parenting three children continues to be a joyful journey for me. It has its challenges, but when the path gets steep or uncertain, I know I can count on those that have gone ahead. Now that I’ve traveled a chunk of that road, I enjoy pairing my experience with current research to help us all make better choices for our families. I’ve discovered that there is a lot we can learn from leaning into the wisdom of our collective village.

She is also a Senior Contributor for HoustonMoms (City Mom Collective), where she shares her parenting perspective and provides local resources for readers. As part of that role, she makes appearances on local TV to discuss her parenting viewpoint on current topics, share craft ideas, and participate in panel discussions.
After graduating from Boston University, she moved to New York City to start her career, then worked overseas, and eventually transitioned to life as a writer and mother in Houston.
Vicky received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Boston University, with a concentration in Sociology.
