Snoo Bassinet

There are few things as adorable as a snoozing baby, but it’s no secret that it can be tricky to get babies to sleep. And waking up to soothe your baby multiple times throughout the night can take a toll on you, too. One of our tried and true (and tested!) tricks is the SNOO Smart Sleeper Bassinet, which rocks and comforts your baby—without you putting a single foot out of bed. Usually, it’s pretty pricey (it’s our pick for the best bassinet to splurge on), but from March 16 to 19, the SNOO Smart Sleeper Bassinet is 25% off, saving you well over $400. The sale won’t last long, though, so we recommend shopping it ASAP to get you and your baby snoozing soundly.

This tricked-out bassinet is truly luxurious, and it passed our bassinet test with flying colors. Its womb-like gentle rocking helps lull babies to sleep, as does the constant white noise. Our editors particularly love the responsive technology: The bassinet senses when your baby is crying or fussing and increases the motion and sound accordingly, so your baby gets soothed while you get to stay in bed.

The SNOO Smart Sleeper is Wi-Fi-enabled and can be controlled by a handy app, so you can change the volume or speed without moving around and risking waking up your little one. The app allows you to control the sound, motion, and how sensitive it is to crying, and it also tracks your baby’s sleep patterns and lets you know if they need more attention.

Beyond its clever features, it just looks gorgeous: The mid-century modern bassinet is made of breathable white mesh and attractive wood paneling, so it blends in seamlessly with most home decor. While the bassinet’s height (15.5 inches) isn’t adjustable, you can purchase slip-resistant low legs that lower the bassinet to 10 inches, or if you’re taller, you can buy the brand’s leg lifters (both sold separately).

Uniquely, the brand allows you to schedule your shipping date so you can coordinate it with your due date. (Shipping typically takes a week.) Plus, there are several extras included with your purchase: Three hip-safe, organic cotton swaddles; an organic cotton sheet; a bassinet mattress with a water-resistant cover; and virtual access to sleep consultants.

Our one hesitation with the SNOO is the cost—until now. Parents of newborns know that sleep is truly priceless, but since you can score over $400 off right off, the extra rest will be that much sweeter. But the bassinet is only on sale from March 16 through March 19, so you’ll want to act fast to score the discount (and more ZZZ’s).
