Sari has been a journalist since starting her career at a local news station more than two decades ago. Since then, she's been honing her news judgment, writing, and editing skills. Sari began in local news with the ABC station in Salisbury, MD, then the CBS station in Philadelphia before spending most of her career at MSNBC. As a producer at MSNBC, Sari was part of an Emmy Award-winning team for live coverage of the Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage. She then returned to local news at News 12 Connecticut and New Jersey. As a mother of two girls, Sari is passionate about topics concerning pregnancy and parenting. She's excited to use her journalism experience and news judgment to bring Verywell Family readers the critical information they need to know.


Sari has a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University
