Samantha is a freelance fact-checker of books as well as short and long-form magazine articles, and was an editorial assistant at the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She is currently a contributing analyst at NewsGuard and specializes in health and science. She has also done research on the history of science and medicine and studied science writing at Medill.
Samatha received a B.A. in History from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MSJ from the Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.
