Olivia has been writing personal essays and reported features about parenting, pregnancy, maternal health, fertility, and the postpartum period ever since she became a mom back in 2007. She now has three sons and a vast portfolio of bylines from print and online magazines. Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, The Guardian, The Washington Post, Good Housekeeping, SELF, Parents, Refinery29, HuffPost, and Brain, Child Magazine.
Olivia’s first book, “Women in White Coats: How the First Women Doctors Changed the World of Medicine” was published in 2021 and made the New York Times best-seller list. She is hard at work on her second book, “A Flame of Hope: The Women Physicists Who Fled Nazi Germany.”
