Olguyne began her career in a community-based program focused on pediatric and maternal nutrition. Over the past few years, she’s been working as a pediatric clinical dietitian. After hours, Olguyne also operates her own private practice The Haitian Nutritionist which prioritizes narrowing cultural gaps in healthcare. She also educates healthcare providers and students on cultural competencies for their roles healthcare. In her spare time, Olguyne enjoys gardening fruits and vegetables from the comfort of her own backyard.
Olguyne received a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Florida International University and master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from University of North Florida. She completed a 1,200-hour dietetic internship and passed the board exam to become a registered dietitian. Olguyne board certified in pediatric nutrition with more than 3,000 hours of experience. She is also a certified nutrition support specialist.
