Jennifer Friedman is a registered dietitian-nutritionist, author of Stories of Extreme Picky Eating: Children with Severe Food Aversions and the Solutions That Helped Them, and the founder of Jenny Friedman Nutrition, a virtual private practice based in Philadelphia.

After working for 5 years in clinical nutrition at some of the nation’s leading hospitals, Jenny now helps parents whose children experience extreme cases of picky eating. She also works directly with children to help them gain trust and confidence around food so they can build a long term positive eating relationship.


Jenny received a master's degree in nutrition and public health from Teachers College Columbia University and a bachelor’s of arts degree from McGill University. She also completed a dietetic internship to become a registered dietitian.
