Highlights

Experience

Heather Balogh Rochfort gained her writing chops in the outdoor industry, spending her earlier years covering gear and adventure stories about outdoor women for publications like Backpacker magazine.

In 2017 she became a mother and immediately found herself entrenched in the beautiful-yet-demanding world of parenting. Since then, she broadened her scope to include the gear, products, and experiences that go hand-in-hand with motherhood. In addition to product coverage with Backpacker and REI, Heather has also written about fitness and family products for e-commerce websites such as The Inventory and Parents.com.
