Fran was born in the Philippines and lived in three countries and six states before finally settling in New York City. As a result of her travels, she's become an avid foodie (currently in the Vietnamese cuisine phase). Before Dotdash Meredith, Fran worked at TechTarget, an IT media company, where she worked as a copy editor and associate editor for five years, covering such topics as IT leadership, IT security, compliance, and more. Outside of work, you can find her acting in various virtual theater performances or looking for the next best coffee shop and vegan restaurant in NYC.
Fran has a B.A. in English from Northeastern University and an MFA in Drama from East 15 Acting School.
