Elaine spent five years working as a population health coordinator in the quality improvement department of a growing managed care organization. She developed, trained others on, and implemented customized wellness programs based on gaps in care. As a quality educator, Elaine now educates others about accreditation and the global impact that our performance has on the company and our members.
As a registered dietitian, Elaine has seen patients (both adults and children) on an outpatient basis, an inpatient basis, and in the community setting. She also taught group classes and facilitated classes for the KEYS to Control Diabetes Program (accredited by the American Diabetes Association). She also serves as a consulting dietitian for group homes and a local jail.
Elaine has written for many other publications, including Vibrant Life magazine, Plus magazine, Today’s Dietitian, The Journal of Wound and Ostomy Management, and Caring magazine.
