Anita Chandrasekaran, MD, MPH, is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and currently works as a rheumatologist at Hartford Healthcare Medical Group in Connecticut. She has published peer-reviewed abstracts and papers on a variety of topics, including the human papillomavirus infection and vaccine, diet and inflammatory bowel disease, and imaging in systemic sclerosis. She actively participates in the teaching of rheumatology to medical students and residents as part of her fellowship training.
Dr. Chandrasekaran obtained her dual MD and MPH degrees at the University of Connecticut in 2015. She completed her internal medicine residency at Scripps Clinic/Green Hospital in La Jolla, California in 2018 and her rheumatology fellowship at Yale University in 2020.
