FAQs

When is the Prime Early Access Sale in 2022?

The first-ever Amazon Prime Early Access Sale started at 12 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, October 11, and ended at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, October 12, giving you two days to stock up for fall, the holidays, and more. Missed it? Don't worry—you can still shop for some great deals even after this event has ended.

What is the Prime Early Access Sale in 2022?

This October marked the first time Amazon has hosted the Early Access Sale, held just in time to give you a head start on holiday shopping. Like Amazon Prime Day, which was held in July, the Early Access Sale offered Prime members special, limited-time deals on top brands, from Hasbro to KitchenAid to Amazon Alexa. Unique to the Early Access Sale is Amazon’s Top 100 list, which featured some of the best items to be found this season (think: LEGO, Adidas, and more).

You do need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop the items still on sale, but if you don’t have a membership, you can try a 30-day free trial right now. Following the trial, Prime costs $14.99 a month, giving you access to exclusive deals all year long.

What other brands offer these deals?

Other brands are also offering early holiday shopping deals. During past Prime Day sales, retailers such as Wayfair, Walmart, Macy’s, Dyson, and Brooklinen have offered similar savings, so be sure to keep an eye out. Those sites don’t require a membership to shop the deals, and they’ll likely try to match the Amazon sale’s discounted prices.

What sold best in July?

In July, outdoor items, vacuums, beauty products, and mattresses were hot commodities. For Prime Early Access, we've seen great deals on home items, electronics, and toys for the holiday season.
